The A & L Premier Current Account is one of a number of bank accounts that Alliance and Leicester
offers although this comes with some nice features.
Currently all new customers who switch their bank accounts
to the alliance and Leicester Premier Current Account receive £100. When you apply and move your banking to Alliance
and leicester Premier Current Account using their Switching Service. To qualify for this offer you must switch all
your direct debits and pay at least £500 from a non-Alliance & Leicester account into your account within 11 weeks
of account opening.
0% EAR typical overdraft. No usage fees on arranged overdrafts for 12 months from when you
open the account (new customers only). A usage fee of 50p a day (up to £5 a month) applies after that. Maximum overdraft
limit is £2,000.
Free European Travel insurance up to the age of 65.
Earn 0.50% AER (variable) on balances up to £2,500 and 0.10% AER (variable) on balances over that amount.
You must be over 21. You’ll need to pay at least £500 every month into your bank account. Cash, cheques
and your salary all count towards this monthly amount, and they can be spread out over the month.

from the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands are not accepted.
Applications are not accepted if you have a
county court judgement or have been registered bankrupt.
