If i have  the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) do i need Travel Insurance?

The EHIC is a document which shows that the holder is entitled to free or reduced cost emergency medical treatment only in state hospitals within the EU. The EHIC is NOT an alternative to travel insurance.
