It’s not until you need a vet that you realise quite how much
they cost. Virgin Pet Insurance helps cover the cost of caring for your cat or dog if ever they need medical help. This means
you don’t have to worry about things like vet’s fees, which can run to hundreds of pounds.
Virgin Pet
Insurance offers three levels of affordable cover for your cat or dog starting from just £4 a month. Plus, once you’ve
insured one of your pets with them, they will knock 5% off every other pet policy you take out.
All levels
of cover come with £1m liability cover, £500 towards recovery costs if your pet is lost, kennel or cattery costs
if you go into hospital and the expense of cancelling or cutting short your holiday if your pet has an accident.
Their Accident and illness extra policy offers maximum cover at a competitive price. It covers your pet from the start
of any accident or illness for the rest of it’s life or until you reach the maximum amount we pay out.
As
well as all the above, you’ll also have access to 4 phone helplines – ‘Find a vet’, ‘Bereavement
counselling’, ‘Pet minder’ and ‘Pet legal’.
You can also add ‘Pet travel cover’
to their Accident and illness or Accident and illness extra cover. This covers you travelling abroad with your pet. This
overseas pet insurance cover provides cover up to the cover limits for emergency expenses abroad, quarantine costs, loss of
pet passport and repeat tick and worming treatment. Virgin pet insurance is only available for cats and dogs and the standard
excess is £70 for cats and £80 for dogs. (£250 on dog liability claims)
