Worldwide Travel insurance normally comes in two types-Worldwide excluding the USA (which usually includes the exclusion of some other Countries such as Canada, Caribbean and Mexico) and worldwide including them. Once you have full worldwide you should be covered for the world but it is important to check as some policies will exclude places that the foreign and commonwealth office advise against travelling to and in the small print check the exclusions as i saw in one worldwide policy that cuba was excluded. Also it is possible to find countries like Egypt, libya, Israel and Jordan under a few european policies which can help if you are looking for cheap travel insurance. Virgin	Egypt	Kids covered free – up to 3 under 18s per adult. Travel insurance available to those under 65.
American Express (Amex)	Egypt and Israel are included but Jordan is excluded.	Cover is available up to age 65 years inclusive.
AA Travel Insurance	Includes Libya, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria.	Cover available to those aged up to and including 79.
