insurance normally comes in two types-Worldwide excluding the USA (which usually includes the exclusion of some other Countries such
as Canada, Caribbean and Mexico) and worldwide including them.
Once you have full worldwide you should be
covered for the world but it is important to check as some policies will exclude places that the foreign and commonwealth
office advise against travelling to and in the small print check the exclusions as i saw in one worldwide policy that cuba
was excluded.
